To quote the silly song that once played on the Doctor Demento radio program, "They don't come when you call…they don't chase balls at all…"

Well, folks, that's the fate of the Sony AIBO robodog. For those of you who were planning to purchase one of the pups, the window has closed forever. Sony discontinued the product's production several months ago, though you may still be lucky enough to find a few strays hanging around the lab. But yeah, they've put the pooch to sleep and will cease all tech support around 2013. Good night sweet Rex and all that jazz.
