Let The Flowers Live!

These paper roses are probably not for giving to your sweetheart. If you're not willing to kill a dozen real-life flowers for her and spend a wad of cash doing so, then it ain't real love and she's going to know it. If you ever do pop the question, you're going to spend the next five to 50 years hearing about what a cheapskate you are.

So go away. This isn't a site for guys, unless you're the type of guy who likes to make things with flowers.

That, I'm guessing, is what you do with paper roses. Make things. Maybe floats. Maybe just wedding reception or bridal shower decorations. Or, maybe you do want to give these to your sweetie if she has a thing for letting flowers live or not giving in to consumerism. She might have an issue with making more trash, too, and…well, you just can't keep these things forever, even if they don't wither.

If you do know what to do with them, however, you might like to know their specs. (Can you say specs with regard to flowers? I don't know.)

Basically, most of these paper flowers cost $5.70 for a bag of 12, and they are about an inch wide. Some of them are marked "1 inch" and others are marked "small 1 inch". I don't know the difference between a regular 1-inch rose and a small 1-inch rose, but that, apparently, is part of your choice in this matter.

Other sizes include 2-inch, large, and mini. You can also get a couple styles of paper hydrangeas. These are super-realistic, impressive, and come in lots of colors, like burgundy and blue/cream. There are light green ones and lilac/blue/green ones, as well as red and ochre/gold. There are a few other colors too.
