Turn On Your Heart Light

Who knew that when Neil Diamond made that sappy song to commemorate the E.T. movie, you would one day be able to do it for real? For those of you who don't remember, E.T. was a cute (well, cute if you think the shrunken little old man with saucer-shaped eyes look is cute) alien guy who had light-up body parts. One of those parts was his chest. Hence, the song. It was all very warm and fuzzy, in spite of the alien's complete lack of body hair or huggability and his penchant for eating human brains.

Just kidding. But I'm not going to say about which part.

This heart light is not fuzzy or cute, but it is really, really cool. For one thing, it looks like an actual heart - well except for the limp, squishy part. It's actually an upright lamp shaped like a heart - the organ, not the bizarrely un-heartshaped icon that has come to represent love in all its various forms.

This heart is also made of glass, so be careful with it. You wouldn't want to wind up with an honest-to-goodness broken heart.

Yes, yes. Call the Pun Police if you must, but for goodness' sake check this thing out. If you happen to be a biology teacher, then you absolutely need one of these. It could seriously liven up your class and snap students to a waking state. Get their attention. You do want to get their attention, don't you?

And what about your patients? (Assuming, of course, that you are a doctor.) Something like this could really set them at ease. Patients like to be set at ease. They like it very much. They like to know that their doctor has a heart, and with this you can prove it to them.
